SR and BR(SR) Models 7

No.A604 is a 'T' Class 0-6-0 tank designed by Kirtley originally for the London, Chatham and Dover Railway between 1879 and 1893. Inherited by the South East and Chatham Railway in 1900, and taken into Southern Railway stock at the Grouping, she is seen in this latter railway's first livery for goods engines, of black with green lining. This model was constructed from a Q Kits kit, although extra detail has been added for my customer.

This is a 'D1' Class 4-4-0, constructed from a DJH kit.

No.E746 "Pendragon" is an ex-LSWR Urie 'King Arthur' Class loco. This design was of course, perpetuated by Maunsell in Southern Railway days, which is how the loco is portrayed here. This model was built using a South Eastern Finecast kit.

No.2346 is a 'K' class 'Mogul', built from an Ace Products kit.

This is no. 21C20 "Bibby Line", one of the second series of 'Merchant Navy' class 'Pacifics', built to the design of O.V.S.Bulleid, and constructed from a Millholme Models kit.

This rather ungainly looking creature is a rebuilt 'T14' Class loco. Originally designed by Drummond, this class was built with huge splashers which gave rise to their nickname of 'Paddleboxes' - see page 17. Rebuilt by Urie with superheaters, which necessitated extended smokeboxes, they were again rebuilt by Maunsell into the form depicted by this model. No. 460 was built using a Nu-Cast kit.
